Jyothi Packers

Our spot is near the Yelahanka railway station, so you get used to the sound of the trains pretty fast. We are out towards Rajankunte, specifically near the cross cut road. It’s a busy corner. There is always someone asking for directions or trying to park where they shouldn't. The warehouse part of the building is full of old cardboard boxes and rolls of bubble wrap that never seem to end. It’s a bit of a maze back there. The office is just a couple of desks pushed together near the front door so we can see who’s coming in. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. Usually, there’s a layer of dust on everything because of the construction work nearby. We just wipe it off when it gets too bad. The lights flicker sometimes when the big trains go past, but we don’t pay it much mind anymore. It’s a practical place for what we do at Jyothi Packers. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall down the road. Most of the guys have been working here for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. It’s just about getting the items wrapped and moved out the door on time. The floor is scuffed up from all the crates, and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. It is a simple life around here.
