Bava Rachane Designs Build

Our workspace is actually on the roof top of No. 857, which is located on the 5th Cross in Vijaya Bank Layout. It’s a nice enough spot because we get a bit of a breeze up there, though it can get quite warm when the sun is directly overhead in the summer. We have a simple corrugated roof over part of the area to keep the rain off our equipment. Since we do design and build work, there are always some construction materials or tools sitting in the corners. We use big tables for spreading out blueprints and architectural drawings. Vijaya Bank Layout is a pretty quiet residential area compared to the rest of the city, which helps us focus. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. Instead, we have a space that feels like a workshop. You can see the tops of the trees from where we sit, and sometimes we see the neighbors drying clothes on their own roofs nearby. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is strictly on the buildings we are planning. We spend a lot of time talking about materials and structural stuff. It’s just a handful of us here, and we usually stay late if a project deadline is coming up. We like being on the roof because it feels more open and less like we are trapped in a cubicle all day long.
