G.K. Fabs

G.K. Fabs is up on the second floor of building number 337 on Sampige Road. Malleswaram is a pretty active part of the city, and being on this road means we see a lot of people every day. We do our fabrication work here, though the space is a bit tight being on an upper floor. We have to haul materials up and down, which keeps us busy. The shop is full of metal scraps and tools most of the time. It is not a clean, polished office, it is a workshop. We spend our hours cutting and joining things as per what is needed. The noise of the machinery can be a bit much sometimes for the neighbors, but they are used to us. We have been in Malleswaram for a while and like the vibe of the market nearby. Our team is small, just a few guys who know how to handle the equipment. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations. It is just a place where we work with our hands. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Sampige Road is always crowded, so getting here can take a bit of time in the afternoons. We just stay focused on the fabrication. The stairs are steep and we are usually tired by the end of the day, but that is the nature of this kind of manual work in a city shop.
