S S Roadlines

S S Roadlines is based out of 7/8/54 on Bannerghatta Main Road, right in the Bhavani Nagar area. Since we are in the transport business, being on a main road like this is pretty important for us. It’s a noisy spot with trucks and buses going past all the time, but that’s just life on Bannerghatta. Our office is a simple place where we manage the schedules and talk to drivers. There’s always a lot of paperwork to deal with, from trip sheets to fuel receipts. We don’t have any fancy lounge for customers, just some chairs and a desk where we get things sorted. Transport is a tough business because something is always going wrong, like a flat tire or a delay at a checkpoint, but we just take it as it comes. We’ve been running this for a few years now and have a small team that knows the routes well. We don't use any complicated software, just a lot of phone calls and notebooks to keep track of where everything is. It’s a practical job that keeps us on our toes from early morning until late at night. The walls of the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We just focus on keeping the trucks moving and making sure the loads get where they need to go. That is the main thing for us.
