Vidya Niketan School

Vidya Niketan School is at number 30 in Kempapura, over in the Hebbal area. If you know the Hebbal flyover, you know how crazy the traffic can be around there. But once you turn off into the Kempapura lanes, it gets a bit more like a regular neighborhood. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The building is a familiar sight for people living in this part of North Bangalore. It’s not a brand-new facility with glass walls, but it is solid and it has plenty of room for the kids. We have a lot of local families who have been with us for years. The walk to the school from the main road isn't too bad, though it can get dusty when the wind picks up. We don't really do the whole corporate school thing. It’s more of a place where everyone knows each other’s names. The classrooms are simple and we try to keep the playground area as clean as possible. Hebbal has grown up all around us with big apartments and malls, but we just stay here doing what we've always done. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of school. We aren't trying to be the most expensive or the flashiest place in town. We just want to provide a decent place for the kids to spend their day without any unnecessary complications. Every morning we open the doors and get everything set up for the classes.
