Podar International School

This branch of Podar International School sits on General K S Thimmaiah Road in Vijaynagar 2nd Stage. We are right there at No. Ca25, sharing space near the Krishik Sarvodaya Foundation. Mysore is a quiet city, and this neighborhood is mostly residential with a few shops nearby. The school building has several floors and we have many classrooms for different grades. In the mornings, the traffic on the main road gets a bit heavy with parents dropping off their children before heading to work. We have a routine here that stays the same most days. The kids line up for assembly, then they go to their classes. It can get loud when the younger ones are out for their play time, but that’s how it is with schools. Our staff handles the daily paperwork and the lessons without much fuss. The building is painted in the usual colors you see for this school group. We have a small area for parking and the school buses are always coming and going. Inside, the walls have some charts and drawings made by the students. We don’t go in for anything too flashy, just focusing on the books and the classes. Sometimes we have local events or small gatherings in the hall. It’s a standard setup for a school in Mysore, where we just get on with the job of teaching every single day.
