Dishaa Montessori House Of Children

Our school is located in Mahalakshmi Layout, on the 13th Cross at 52 / A. It’s a lively place, mostly because of all the kids running around. We follow the Montessori way of doing things, which means the children are often busy with their own little tasks. You’ll see them working with wooden blocks or drawing at small tables. It gets pretty noisy during the day, but it’s a good kind of noise. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and a lot of the local families send their little ones to us. The building is a regular house that we’ve turned into a space for learning. It feels more like a home than a big school. We have a small outdoor area where they can play when the weather is nice. The teachers here are patient, which you have to be when you’re dealing with toddlers all day. There are always snacks to be handed out and shoes to be tied. We don’t have any grand ideas about changing the world; we just want to give these kids a nice place to grow and learn some basic skills. Sometimes things get messy with paint or glue, but that’s just how it goes. Parents drop their kids off in the morning, and we spend the day keeping them engaged. It’s a lot of work but seeing them figure something out makes it worth it.
