Vickey Cement

We are over at 69/4 Cambridge Road in Ulsoor. Vickey Cement has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a while now. Ulsoor is a great area, always full of life and activity. Our shop isn’t anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our supplies and do our business. I started this because I knew the construction business well and wanted to work for myself. It’s been a lot of hard work, especially the heavy lifting. We don’t have a big office staff, so I usually handle the orders and the loading myself, or with a little help when it’s available. The floor is usually dusty, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on getting the orders out than how the place looks. Cambridge Road stays busy, so there’s always someone stopping in to ask about prices or delivery times. We try to be straight with people. If we can get it to you today, we say so. If we can’t, we don’t make excuses. It’s a local business run by local people. We live around here too, so we care about what’s happening in the community. We don’t use big words or try to act like we’re more than we are. We just provide cement to the people who are building things around here. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be doing it. We just keep it moving.
