Veltech Equipments

We are based in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at KHB Industrial Area 140. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s a place where things are constantly moving and making noise. Our workshop at Veltech Equipments is right in the middle of all that activity. It’s a dusty place because of all the construction and the trucks moving in and out of the industrial blocks all day. We have various types of equipment scattered around the floor, some waiting to be fixed and others ready to go out. The roof is high and made of metal sheets, so it gets really loud when it rains, which happens a lot here in Bangalore. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; our main desk is just a corner of the shop floor where we keep the ledger and the phone. The guys wear work clothes and usually have grease on their hands by mid-morning. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat, and there’s always someone brewing a pot of strong tea in the back. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We focus on getting the machines running and making sure the parts are where they need to be. It’s hard work, but we’ve been at this spot for a long time and know the neighbors and the local tea stall owners well. We just keep our heads down and get the equipment serviced for the people who need it.
