Velji Catering

Velji Catering is located right in the heart of the busy Chickpet area. We are inside the L.j.complex on D.s.lane, specifically at 105/5, and we are part of the Chimanlal & Sons setup. If you know Chickpet Cross, you know how crowded and lively it gets every single day. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't familiar with the narrow lanes, but that is just the character of this part of town. We have been operating here for quite a while, surrounded by all the shops and wholesale markets. It is a very active place to work. We spend most of our time getting things ready for customers who need food for their gatherings. Being in a commercial hub like this means there is never a dull moment. We share the space and keep things moving along as best as we can. It’s not a big, open kitchen you might see elsewhere; it’s a tight, functional space that works for us. We don't really do much in the way of fancy signage. People who need us usually know exactly where to find us in the complex. We just focus on the orders and making sure everything is packed up correctly before it goes out. Chickpet has a certain rhythm, and we have become a small part of that over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
