Veeran Bricks

Veeran Bricks is just a small operation over in Kadugodi. We are at number 26. To be honest, Kadugodi has changed so much since we first started out here. There is so much more traffic now and everything feels faster, but inside our yard, things stay pretty much the same. We still do things the way we always have. It is hard work, lifting and stacking all day, but it keeps us busy. We do not have a big marketing team or anything. People just know that we have been here for years. They usually just stop their vehicles on the side of the road and come in to ask about prices or when we will have a fresh batch ready. My father used to say that a good brick speaks for itself, so we do not spend much time talking ourselves up. We just try to make sure they are fired properly so they do not break in the rain. It is just me and a couple of helpers most days. We have a small shed where we keep the records, but mostly we are out in the sun. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy loading done early in the morning. It is a simple life, and we do not really want it to be any more complicated than it already is. We just keep stacking.
