Udaya Hollow Blocks

We are located right by the S B M Bank Building on Mysore Road. It is a busy spot in Kumbalgudu and we have been making hollow blocks here for some time. The yard gets pretty loud with the machines running all day. Making blocks isn't very complicated but it takes a lot of patience to get the mix right so they don't crumble. We spend most of our time out in the sun watching the curing process. People driving down Mysore Road often stop by to ask about prices for their home projects. It is a lot of heavy lifting. My back feels it at the end of every week. The dust from the cement is everywhere, even in my tea sometimes. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just making sure the blocks are solid and ready for when the trucks come to pick them up. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains too hard and we have to cover everything up quickly. But we manage. The shop is at number 264, easy to see if you are coming from Anchepalya side. We are just a local group trying to make a living. No big office or secretaries, just us in our work clothes. If you need blocks for a wall or a shed, this is where we do all the work.
