Being located on Richmond Road in Bengaluru means there is always traffic. Our office at 88/4 is right across from the HDFC Bank, which makes it easier to tell people where to find us. At Wienerberger India Pvt. Ltd., we deal with building materials, mostly bricks and clay products. Bengaluru is always growing, so there is constant demand for stuff to build with. It gets pretty loud outside with the horns and the city noise, but inside we just focus on getting the paperwork done and coordinating with the sites. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at inventory sheets. Sometimes the rain in the afternoon slows things down, especially when we are trying to get deliveries organized. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for very long. There are always samples lying around the office, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with all the technical drawings. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and we know the neighborhood well now. Most of the staff has their favorite lunch spots nearby. It’s a busy life here in Karnataka. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing; we just try to make sure the builders get what they need when they need it. Sometimes things get delayed, that’s just how logistics work in a big city like this. We do our best to keep things moving along every day.
