I work out of 22 Banaswadi Main Road. It’s in the Joana Premises, right on Manuel Gonsalves Road. The office is small and nothing too big. Mostly it’s just me and a couple of others helping out with the paperwork. This area is quite lively with all the shops and traffic. Finding parking near the building can be hard, so people usually park a bit further down. I started this because I wanted to work for myself. It’s been a few years now. Inside, a few desks and some filing cabinets are getting a bit too full. We spend most of our time on the phone or meeting people who stop by. The vibe isn't corporate at all. Usually, we just sit around, drink some tea, and get the work done. Keeping the door open lets some air in. Even though the building is older, it has some character. People come to me for advice or when they need help with their documents. I try to stay organized, but my desk is usually covered in notes and folders. This is just a normal local business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the people who come through the door. Banaswadi is a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually. We stay until the work is finished, which is usually late. Sometimes on Saturdays, we close early if there is no pending work. It's a simple life.
