Valley School

The Valley School is located out at the 17th Km mark on Kanakapura Road, near Doddakallasandra. It is a bit of a drive to get out here from the main part of the city, but that is sort of the point. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery and trees, which makes the air feel a bit cleaner than what you get downtown. The school grounds are spread out, so there is plenty of room for the kids to run around and explore the outdoors. We see quite a lot of birds and sometimes even small animals wandering through the property. The buildings are tucked away among the trees, and we try not to disturb the natural feel of the place too much. It’s not like those big glass and concrete schools you see in the middle of town. Here, things are more spread out and quiet. On a typical day, you can hear the wind in the leaves and the kids playing in the distance. We spend a lot of time outside because that’s where the best learning happens sometimes. The road out here has gotten busier over the years, but once you turn off into our lane, it feels like you’ve entered a different world. We don’t have fancy uniforms or strict bells ringing every few minutes. It’s a more relaxed way of doing things. We just focus on being part of the land and letting the students grow at their own pace without too much pressure.
