V T Stores has been sitting at 164 near Russel Market in Shivaji Nagar for a long time. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how loud and colorful it is. There’s always the smell of fresh vegetables and the sound of people haggling over prices. Our shop is just a short walk from the main market gate. We keep a lot of different things, from kitchen tools to dry goods and household items. The shop is quite old, with wooden shelves that have been there since we started. It’s not a modern supermarket where everything is wrapped in plastic. Usually, you just come in and tell us what you need, and we go find it for you in the back or on the high shelves. It gets very crowded on the weekends when everyone is doing their shopping for the week. We have many regular customers who have been coming here since they were children. The floors are a bit worn down, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it feels right to us. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most people find us just by walking past on their way to the meat or fruit stalls. We open early in the morning, usually around the same time the market starts getting busy. It’s just a simple, old-fashioned store that serves the people living around Shivaji Nagar. There is always a lot of activity happening nearby.
