V S Mess

V S Mess is right here in Banaswadi, just across from the Syndicate Bank. If you're walking down the main road, you can't really miss us. We’ve been running this place for a good while, serving food to whoever walks through the door. It’s not a big fancy dining room, just some tables and chairs where people can sit and eat quickly before heading back to work. Most of our regulars work nearby or live in the rooms around here. The kitchen stays busy from early morning until we close up at night. It gets pretty hot in there, especially when we’re middle of the lunch rush. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know we’re here at number 645. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery when it’s raining outside and everyone brings in mud, but we try to keep it clean. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there’s always the sound of steel plates clanking. We don’t have a huge menu, just the usual stuff people want to eat every day. The bank employees come over quite a bit when they get their break. It’s just a simple mess. We make the food, people eat it, and then they go about their day. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. Banaswadi is a busy area these days, so there’s always someone looking for a meal to fill their stomach.
