Moving stuff is what we do here at 13/155, Kalkere Main Road in Krishnarajapuram. V R L Packers & Movers isn’t a desk job. Most of the time we are out in the sun carrying boxes or trying to fit a sofa through a door that’s too small. The office is mostly just a place to park the trucks and keep the packing tape and bubble wrap. It gets pretty chaotic when three or four moves are happening at the same time. We don’t have a polished way of talking to people. We just tell them how many boxes they’ll need and what time the truck will show up. Krishnarajapuram can be a nightmare for traffic, so we spend a lot of time sitting in the cab of a truck, looking at the watch. It’s heavy work and our backs usually ache by Friday. We’ve seen all kinds of houses, some messy and some very neat. We just try to get everything from one place to the other without breaking anything important. Sometimes things get scratched, it’s just the reality of moving heavy furniture. We don’t pretend to be anything we aren’t. We are just a group of guys with a few trucks and some strong arms. We do the work, get paid, and go home to rest.
