Our business, S & S Group, is situated on Tumkur Road, right near the big Parle G Factory. If you’ve ever driven down this road, you know the smell of biscuits is often in the air. It’s a busy industrial and transport corridor, which is perfect for the kind of work a group like ours handles. We don’t have a massive headquarters with a glass elevator. We just have a solid building where we manage our operations. Tumkur Road is always packed with trucks and commuters, so there is never a dull moment outside our gates. We are a practical group of people who just want to get the job done without any fuss. Our office is simple, with plain walls and the usual furniture you’d expect in a place like this. We don’t use fancy titles or wear expensive suits. We are usually in work clothes, ready to handle whatever the day brings. Most of the people we work with are from around here or are passing through on their way into the city. We like the location because it’s easy for everyone to find. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or a handbook full of corporate rules. We just rely on common sense and hard work. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it seems to work well for us here on Tumkur Road. We have been in this spot for a long time and we like it here. It’s just how we do things.
