United Men Salon

United Men Salon is the place at No218/2 on Jain temple road. We are right in the heart of Shivaji Nagar. It’s a very specific spot because we are directly opposite the Jain temple. You can hear the bells and see the people coming for prayers throughout the day. The street can get quite narrow and crowded, especially during festivals or special days at the temple. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and a sign. Inside, we have a few chairs and the usual tools of the trade. We spend a lot of time cleaning up hair from the floor and making sure the towels are fresh. It’s a local place through and through. Most of the men who come in live just a few minutes away or work in the nearby shops. We talk about the news or the weather while we work. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't one. It’s just us here on Jain temple road. The days go by fast when it’s busy. We like being part of this neighborhood. It’s familiar and it’s home for the business. We just do what we know how to do, day after day, in this little corner of Bangalore. It's a simple life and a simple shop for regular people. We are just here.
