Udupi Caterers

Udupi Caterers is located over in Chamrajpet at the Laxminagar Commercial Complex, unit 41590. We have been doing this for a long time, mostly working out of the big kitchen where there is always steam and the smell of spices in the air. It is a busy place, especially on weekends when everyone seems to have a function or a wedding going on at the same time. The staff usually gets here very early in the morning when the streets are still quiet to start the preparations. We use those big stainless steel drums for the rice and sambar, and they are quite heavy to move around. The commercial complex can be a bit confusing to find if you are not used to the area, but we are right there in the middle of it. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lanes of Chamrajpet, which makes us a bit late, but we try to manage. There is a lot of noise with the grinding machines and people calling out orders to each other. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just a table with some ledgers and a couple of plastic chairs for people to sit on when they come to talk about their events. It is a lot of hard work and we are often tired by the end of the day, but that is just how the food business goes for us here in the city.
