Uday Food Company

Our place, Uday Food Company, is at 45-22M Kempegowda Road in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our door. The building we are in is one of those older structures with high ceilings and narrow stairs. We do a lot of our work in the back rooms where we process various food items. It’s not a high-tech facility by any means. We use basic equipment and a lot of manual labor to get things done. The front area is where we handle the paperwork and meet with anyone who drops by. Gandhi Nagar is always full of traffic, so getting deliveries in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We have to time everything just right or the trucks get stuck for hours in the local gridlock. We are just a group of people trying to run a steady business. There’s nothing very glamorous about what we do. It involves a lot of checking lists, weighing goods, and making sure the labels aren't crooked. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we don't bother with slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the daily routine of filling orders. Some days are long, and we stay late to finish up, but that’s just the nature of the food business in this area when you have plenty of orders to pack.
