Trident Chowpatty

We are over here in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, right around where the 10th and 11th Cross meet. If you look up at number 451, you’ll see us on the first floor. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and to be honest, it gets pretty loud with all the traffic passing by throughout the day. I spend a lot of time just watching people walk by from the balcony area. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the routine is mostly the same every morning. We come in, get the kitchen started, and wait for the first few people to wander in from the street. The stairs are a bit steep, but once you’re up here, it’s a bit more peaceful than the ground level. BTM is always moving, but inside our doors, things are just normal. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that, just tables and chairs and the stuff we need to get through the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there until it comes back on. It’s just how things go around here. People come in, they eat, they leave. We try to keep things simple because that’s what we know how to do. You can find us easily if you know the landmark, but if you're new to the cross roads, just look for the big number 451. There isn't much more to say about it, really. It is what it is. We just keep going.
