Tranzient A Cut Above

We are situated on the 1st floor of Chancellors Chambers on Ulsoor Road. The area code here is 560008. If you're coming this way, the Manipal Centre is a very close landmark to look out for. Ulsoor Road is a busy stretch, but once you get inside the building, it's a bit more quiet. We’ve got a straightforward setup for cutting hair and doing other salon work. It’s a place where we just focus on what the person in the chair needs. The building itself is easy to recognize. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and we’ve gotten to know the rhythms of the street. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have something going on. We aren't into the whole high-pressure sales thing. We just like doing hair. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. We keep our tools sharp and our stations as tidy as we can. It’s a workspace, after all. If you are walking past the Manipal Centre, we aren't far at all. We think the 1st floor is a good height—not too many stairs but away from the dust of the road. It’s a honest kind of place. We just do our work and hope people leave feeling a bit better than when they came in. That’s pretty much the whole story of our shop here.
