We are over at 125/1 Konena Agrahara, inside Ankur Society on the first floor. It is a busy little office. There are always rolls of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes sitting around in the corners. Moving people's stuff is what we do, so our own space is often a bit cluttered with packing materials. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying things up or down. We spend most of our mornings on the phone or filling out clipboards. The society is usually quiet, but we make a bit of noise when the trucks arrive. Our desks are covered in tape dispensers and marker pens. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the paperwork for a big move. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, and that is usually the best part of the day. We do not have a big sign out front, just a small one by the door. It is a practical setup for a moving business. We focus on the logistics and making sure we have enough hands for the next job. It is not a glamorous office, but it works for us. Everyone here knows their role and we just keep moving along, one box at a time. We keep a stack of old newspapers for packing glass and it grows quite high some weeks.
