We are out here near Hebbal, pretty close to the Yalahanka main road. It’s always busy with trucks and people moving around. Most days we are just packing up boxes or trying to figure out how to fit a big sofa through a narrow door. It’s tiring work, honestly. My clothes usually have tape stuck to them by noon. We started this because there are so many people moving into these new apartments around here. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache when we have a morning pickup, but we manage to get through it. We have a couple of small trucks and a few guys who have been with me for a while now. They know how to wrap things so nothing breaks, but we aren't fancy about it. We just use a lot of bubble wrap and old newspapers. Sometimes customers come by the office to talk, but mostly we are out at their houses. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk and a lot of empty cartons stacked in the corner. We spend most of our time on the phone or driving around. It’s a basic business. We take the items from one place and put them in another. Some days are long, especially when the elevators in those tall buildings stop working. But that's just how it goes in this line of work. We keep doing it every day.
