The South India Surgical Company

We’ve been at No. 25 on A Street, just off K. R. Road, for a long time now. The South India Surgical Company is a bit of a local landmark for people in the medical trade around here. Our building is old, and the stairs creak a bit, but it has a lot of history. We stock all kinds of surgical tools and equipment. It’s not the kind of place where everything is shiny and new; it looks like a working warehouse because that’s exactly what it is. Boxes are stacked up high, and sometimes you have to move one thing to get to another. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just know our inventory. Most of the people who work here have been with the company for decades. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’ve stayed right here. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the mess on K. R. Road, but we try to stay patient. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even though we’ve grown over the years. We just try to provide what surgeons need without any extra fluff or complicated sales pitches. It’s honest work, and we’re happy to keep doing it from our little corner of the street. If you drop by, you'll probably see us drinking tea and checking off some packing lists.
