If you head down to 137 Malleshwaram, right on 9th Cross Margosa Road, you’ll find us tucked behind Vijaya ENT Care. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and the street is always lined with cars and scooters. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and the building has that old Malleshwaram feel to it. The walls are thick, and the air always carries a bit of a herbal scent that lingers even after we close up for the night. We don’t have any fancy glass doors or bright neon signs. It’s just a solid wooden door and some windows that look out onto the back alley. Most days involve a lot of lifting boxes and checking labels on all the containers we keep in the back room. It’s hard work sometimes, but we’re used to it. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when carrying stuff up and down. We have a small staff, and we all pretty much know what needs to be done without talking about it too much. Sometimes the noise from the main road gets loud, especially when there’s a festival or something going on, but we just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks. It’s a practical place, meant for work rather than looking pretty. We like being near Margosa Road because everything is close by if we need anything.
