We are located in Banashankari 3rd Stage at number 10. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood compared to the city center. Most of the people who come to us are families living in the nearby blocks. We keep our place simple with wooden tables and basic lighting. It feels more like a kitchen at home than a commercial spot. We spend a lot of time in the back chopping vegetables and getting things ready. Nothing is pre-packaged here. We get our supplies from the local market every couple of days. Sometimes the vegetables aren't exactly what we wanted, so we have to change what we're making on the fly. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have a uniform; we just wear what’s comfortable for working in a hot kitchen. The sink is always full of dishes because we go through them so fast. We try to keep the noise down so we don’t bother the neighbors too much. In the afternoons, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the ceiling fan spinning. We take a break then and sit out front for a bit. When evening hits, the families start showing up. It gets a bit loud with kids running around, but we don’t mind. It’s just a normal part of life here. We do our best to make sure everyone leaves full and the place is ready for tomorrow.
