The Hole In The Wall Cafe

The Hole In The Wall Cafe has been sitting here on Chakala Shara Road 61 in Koramangala for quite some time now. It’s exactly what it sounds like, a small place tucked away where things can get a bit cramped on the weekends. We started out with just a few tables and a tiny kitchen that always smelled like bacon and toasted bread. The floorboards creak a bit and the paint isn't perfect, but we like it that way. Most mornings there’s a line outside before we even get the doors open. It’s messy and loud, and sometimes the orders take a while because the kitchen is so small. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Most of our regulars have their favorite spots to sit, usually near the window if it’s not too sunny. We’ve had to fix the plumbing more times than I can count. The menu is just stuff we like to eat ourselves. It’s not complicated. People come here to talk and eat, and usually, they stay a bit longer than they should. We don’t mind. It feels more like a living room than a business half the time. If you’re looking for something polished, this isn't it. But if you want a place that feels real, we’re here. Just look for the old sign on the road and you will find us.
