The Gate Academy

Jayanagar 74 is where we spend most of our time. It's a busy spot in the neighborhood. We help students who are getting ready for the GATE exams. Most days it's just a lot of books and quiet studying happening here. We've been at this address for a bit now. People come in looking for help with their technical subjects. It’s not a fancy place, just some rooms with desks and whiteboards. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, but the classes keep going anyway. We know how stressful these exams can be for people trying to get into masters programs or PSU jobs. It involves a lot of math and logic. We try to keep things straightforward and simple. If someone doesn't understand a concept, we just go over it again until they do. It’s a lot of back and forth between the teachers and the students. The building is pretty easy to find if you know this part of town. We see a lot of the same faces every single day. It gets pretty crowded right before the exam season starts in the winter. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. It’s just a bunch of rooms where people focus on their work. We've seen a lot of students pass through these doors over the years. Some do really well and some struggle, but they all put in the effort. That's basically what happens at The Gate Academy. We just show up and help them out.
