The Fracture & Orthopaedic Clinic

The Fracture & Orthopaedic Clinic is over at No. 57, 17-A Cross, 8th Main in Malleswaram. We are right next to the Ganesh Temple, so you can usually hear the morning prayers and the bells if you’re here early. It’s a very local Malleswaram vibe. The clinic is mostly about bones and joints. We see a lot of people with casts on their arms or legs, and plenty of older folks with back pain. The floor is made of that old stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have an X-ray room that gets a lot of use. The benches in the waiting area are wooden and have been there forever. It’s a busy place and can get quite noisy with kids crying or people talking about their accidents. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our white coats and get to work. Malleswaram is a great area with all the trees, but the streets are narrow, so it can be a squeeze to get here. We handle a lot of emergencies where someone has fallen down. There is always the smell of rubbing alcohol and medical tape in the air. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day. We just try to get the bones set right so people can go home and heal up. That is how we spend our days.
