Our clinic is located at No 4 in the Puttanchetty Complex on Bull Temple Road. Basavanagudi is a very old and traditional part of the city, and we feel lucky to be working here. Being a hip and knee clinic means we see a lot of people who have trouble walking or moving around easily. We try to make the space as accessible as we can since our patients often have sore joints. The Bull Temple Road is always busy with people going to the temple or the local markets. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts up, but we are used to it by now. Inside the complex, it is a bit quieter. We have our small office where we look at x-rays and talk to people about their bones. It is not a huge place with lots of machines, but we have what we need to figure out why someone’s knee is hurting. The staff here has been together for a while, so we work well as a small group. We see a lot of elderly folks from the neighborhood who have lived in Basavanagudi their whole lives. It’s nice to hear their stories while we work. We aren't a big hospital chain, just a specialized clinic trying to help people get back on their feet without too much fuss. We stay open through the week and handle whatever comes our way.
