If you head down Sarjapur Road and turn into Shubh Enclave, you’ll find us at Number 47. Mahaveer Orthopaedic Clinic is situated right on Harlur Main Road, which can be a real headache with the traffic some days. We’ve got a sign out front, but it’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast. Inside, the clinic is mostly quiet, except for the sound of people moving around on crutches or the occasional squeak of a wheelchair. We have a lot of X-ray films tucked away in the back. The chairs in the waiting room are sturdy, which is important for our patients. We spend our time looking at bones and joints, trying to figure out why things are hurting. It’s a lot of physical work, helping people stand up or move their arms. The floor is tiled and easy to mop, which we do a lot. We don’t have a big corporate office or fancy decorations. It’s just a place with some medical posters on the wall and a desk for the doctor. Sometimes the neighbors from the enclave stop by to chat. We’ve seen a lot of different injuries over the years. We keep a steady schedule, but accidents don't always follow a clock, so we have to be ready. It’s a practical clinic for people who just want to get back on their feet.
