Hips & Shoulders

Hips & Shoulders is based in a quiet corner of Bangalore. We are over at Aashirwad, number 11 on the 3rd Main in Munireddy Layout. It’s just off the Hormavu Main Road in Banaswadi. The area is mostly residential, so it’s a bit calmer than the rest of the city. We work on things related to the body and movement, which is where the name comes from. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just a local spot where people come when they need some help with their physical health. The space inside is simple and clean, but it’s definitely not a high-end luxury studio. We have the equipment we need and that’s about it. Most of the folks who come here live nearby or heard about us from a friend. We don't spend money on billboards or radio ads. We just open the doors every morning and get to work. Sometimes the Bangalore rain makes it a bit messy outside, but it’s nice and cozy inside. We don't have a strict dress code or a bunch of managers running around. It’s just a few of us who know what we are doing. We like to keep things very informal and friendly. If you come by, you’ll probably find us chatting with someone or tidying up the gear. It’s a very human-centered place, and we plan to keep it that way for a long time.
