This is our location in Bengoor Village, over in the Madikeri area of Kodagu. It’s a bit of an unusual address because we are listed with the D/O B. U. Machaiah, who was an Assistant Sub-Inspector. The place is in Cargunda Post. If you know Karnataka, you know how beautiful and green it is out this way. It’s a very rural setting compared to a typical office. We aren't in a business park; we are surrounded by trees and quiet roads. It’s a long way from the hustle of Bangalore. We have a small setup here. It’s more like a house that’s been turned into a workspace. You can smell the rain coming before it actually starts. Most of the people working here are from nearby villages. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology for the building itself, just the basics we need to get our work done. It’s a slow-paced environment in a good way. We don’t really have many visitors, so it’s usually just our small team. We drink a lot of local coffee, which is probably the best part of being in Coorg. The floors are stone and stay cool even when it’s warm outside. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. If you’re looking for us, you usually have to ask a neighbor or look for the gate near the old tree. It’s a peaceful way to work and get through the week.
