We set up shop at Site Number 08 on 12th Cross in the Akshaya Nagar area of Ramamurthy Nagar. Bangalore is a big city and it keeps growing, so being in this part of town is actually pretty convenient for us. Our building is simple and sits right in a residential block, so it’s not your typical high-tech office park. Tektronix India Pvt Ltd has been operating here for a while and we’ve gotten to know the people around the 2nd Block quite well. The days usually start with a lot of coffee and a list of things that need to be finished. We aren’t really into the whole corporate culture thing with the buzzwords and the long mission statements. We are just a bunch of regular employees doing our jobs. Sometimes the Bangalore traffic makes it hard for people to visit us, or we get delayed getting out to see someone, but that’s just part of living here. We handle a variety of tasks and every day is a bit different. One day might be quiet while the next is a total mess of deadlines and deliveries. We don't try to hide the fact that we're a small operation. We just do the best we can with what we have. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we focus on the work instead of trying to look fancy for anyone. It's just how we get through the week.
