Tattva School

We’ve been here in Hosapalya for a while now. If you’re coming down Mysore Road, you just look for the big Pepsi factory, we’re right across from that on Survey No. 70/2. It’s a busy part of the Kumbalgodu area, but once you get inside the gates, things quiet down quite a bit. People always ask about the directions because of the factory landmark. The school day usually starts early when the buses pull in from different parts of the city. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the daily stuff, making sure the classrooms are ready and the grounds are looked after. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running. Some days the traffic on Mysore Road is a real headache for the staff getting here, but we manage. The kids mostly come from nearby neighborhoods, so there’s a local feel to the place. We have our routine here in the Hosapalya area. The weather can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but the trees help. It isn't a fancy corporate setup, just a regular school where we know most of the faces coming through the door every morning. Sometimes the power goes out or a pipe needs fixing, that's just how it is. We try to keep the place clean and functional for everyone who uses it. It's just home for us during the week.
