We’re located at 69 Millers Road, up on the second floor of the JP Devi Jambukeswar building. It’s an insurance office, so there’s always a lot of paper moving around. This isn't like the big shiny offices you see in movies. We have desks pushed together and rows of computers. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs. It’s a busy place. People come in with claims or wanting to sign up for policies. Much of our time is spent explaining how things work. It can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We’ve got a small break room where the kettle is always on. Millers Road is a nice area, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the lunch hour. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the local area well. Our space is just a regular office where we try to keep up with all the files and folders. Sometimes we stay late to finish the end-of-month reports. It’s steady work. No fancy decorations hang on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few photos of our families. It feels like a workplace, not a showroom. We just do the job day in and day out. Every person who walks in needs their paperwork to be right. We hope the coffee machine doesn't break again.
