Taste Of South

We've been here on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Sector 17 for quite a while now. Most people know us as Taste Of South. It is just a small spot at number 38 where we try to keep things simple. We started out because we wanted a place where you could get a decent meal without much fuss. The kitchen is usually busy from early morning. You’ll find us mostly prepping the usual stuff you’d expect from a place with our name. It gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour, especially with people working in the nearby offices around Sector 17. The chairs are just basic wood and sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but it works for us. We don't really do fancy decorations or big signs. If you are walking down MG Road, you might even miss the door if you aren't looking for it. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the tables to taking the orders. It’s a lot of work every day. Sometimes we run out of things toward the end of the shift, but that's just how it goes when we try to keep everything fresh. We just like being part of this neighborhood. It’s a good spot to be. People stop by on their way home or just for a quick bite. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the food is ready. That is pretty much it about us.
