Taste Of Rampur

We've been running Taste Of Rampur here on Solar Road in Indira Nagar for a while now. It started because we wanted to bring the specific kind of cooking we grew up with to this part of town. The shop at 4031 is not huge, but it gets the job done. Most days you'll see a few of us in the back getting things ready before the lunch rush starts. It gets pretty loud and busy around noon. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor or anything like that. It is just tables, chairs, and the smell of the kitchen. Sometimes the orders take a bit longer if we are short-handed, but we try to keep things moving. People usually come in for a quick meal or to pick something up on their way home. We know a lot of the regulars by name since they live or work right nearby. It’s a straightforward place. We just focus on the recipes we know and keeping the kitchen clean. If you are walking down Solar Road, you can usually smell what we are cooking from the street. It’s just a local spot where people can get a filling meal without any fuss. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Indira Nagar, just a reliable one for the neighborhood folks who like this kind of food. We spend a lot of time scrubbing the floors and making sure the supplies are fresh every morning. It's a lot of physical work, but we are used to the routine by now.
