Tara Salon And Spa

Our place, Tara Salon And Spa, is in Koramangala 5th Block. We are at number 52 in the Industrial Layout, right opposite Jyoti Nivas College. Because we are near a college, we see a lot of students. They usually want the latest styles they see online or in movies. We also get people who work in the offices around the industrial area. It’s a mix of young and old. We have a spa section too, which is a bit quieter than the front. Bangalore traffic is always a mess, so people often come in just to sit in the AC for a bit while they wait for their hair to be done. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a very corporate feel. It’s more like a local hangout. Sometimes we play the radio, sometimes it's just quiet. We do all the standard things like pedicures and hair spas. The building is an older one, but we keep our space tidy and clean. We don't spend much on advertising or fancy posters. Most people find us because they go to the college or work nearby. We just focus on getting the job done right so they come back next month. It’s a steady business and we like being in this part of town. The college crowd keeps things lively and there is always something happening on the street.
