Tabitha General Stores

Tabitha General Stores has been sitting here on Mundhwa Road for a good while. We are at 29 / 3 in Srirampuram, which is a spot most locals pass by every single day. It’s a general store, so we stock the usual stuff people need for their houses. Milk, bread, some snacks, and the basic things you realize you ran out of right when you are cooking dinner. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you want, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We recognize most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s not a supermarket or anything like that, just a regular shop where you can grab a few items and have a quick chat about the weather or the traffic on Mundhwa Road. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we have to wait around, but that is just part of the job. We keep the doors open late enough for the late-shift workers too. The building is older, and the sign has seen better days, but it works for us. We just focus on keeping the basics in stock so the neighbors don't have to go too far. Being in Srirampuram is nice because it feels like a real community where everyone knows each other's names. We don't have much else to say, it's just a shop.
