Syed Abdul Lateef

Our place is tucked inside the Indira Nagar BDA Commercial Complex at shop number 10. If you’ve ever been to this complex, you know it’s a bit of a maze with all the different levels and corridors. Syed Abdul Lateef has been operating from here for quite a long time. The building is older, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and stacks of paper. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and the stuff we actually need for our work. The parking outside is always a bit of a headache, especially on the weekends, so we usually tell people to come early if they can. Most of the other shop owners around here have become friends over the years. We share news about the neighborhood while waiting for the elevator, which doesn't always work like it should. Inside the office, it's just a simple setup. We have our files, some computers that are a few years old, and a stack of notebooks on the side table. It’s busy during the middle of the day, then it gets quiet towards the evening when the sun starts to set over the complex buildings. We like it here because everything is close by, even if the building is a bit worn out. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just where we come to work every morning and do what needs to be done.
