Swathi Gift Center

If you go to 734 12th Main in the 3rd Block of Rajajinagar, you’ll find us. Swathi Gift Center is a shop full of all sorts of things. We have shelves packed with items for birthdays, weddings, and holidays. It gets a bit cramped in here when we get new stock in and have to find a place for everything. We’ve been in Rajajinagar for a long time and have seen many shops come and go on this street. Our place is a bit old-fashioned. We don't have a computerized inventory or anything like that, we just know what’s on the shelves by heart. Sometimes we have to dust things off a bit because the street outside gets quite dusty with the traffic and construction nearby. People stop by to pick up small things on their way home from work. We enjoy talking to the people who come in, many of them are neighbors we’ve known for years. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We open up early and stay open until the evening rush is over. The lighting in the back is a bit dim but we like it that way because it keeps the heat down. It's just a simple gift shop where you can find a card or a small present without much fuss. We try to keep things reasonably priced for the local folks. Sometimes the bell on the door gets stuck, but we hear people coming in anyway. There is a small counter where we wrap things in paper.
