Dropmygift

Dropmygift is located at 399 Defence Avenue in K Narayanapura, near Kothanur. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from this side of town. The area is developing fast, but it still feels a bit tucked away. We handle a lot of gift items and deliveries from this location. Our office is more like a warehouse than a shop. There are rows of shelves with all sorts of things waiting to be sent out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking addresses on maps. Kothanur has changed a lot since we started. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the narrow lanes around here. We’ve had days where the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight just to get the packing slips ready. It’s not always smooth sailing. We’re just a small group of people trying to make sure people get their packages on time. We don't have any big corporate backers. It’s just us. We drink a lot of tea and argue about which route is faster through the traffic. Sometimes we mix up a label, but we always try to fix it. It’s a real business with real people who get tired and make mistakes. We like being in K Narayanapura because it’s a bit more relaxed than the city center. We just keep our heads down and keep packing the boxes.
