Swasthik Dry Fruits & Spices

Our shop, Swasthik Dry Fruits & Spices, is situated at 49, Unik Plaza in the Old Tharagupet area. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and vehicles, especially in the early hours of the morning. We are right in the thick of the wholesale trade. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the sacks of almonds, cashews, and spices quite high to fit everything in. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every item is kept. My brother and I run the place with a couple of boys who help us with the loading and unloading. We don't have a corporate structure or any fancy titles. We are just here to sell dry fruits and spices to anyone who walks through the door. Old Tharagupet is a dusty and loud place, but there is an energy here that I really like. We don't do any big advertising because most of our customers have been coming to us for years. They know we are at number 49 and they know what to expect. Sometimes the electricity in Unik Plaza is a bit unreliable, but we just use flashlights and keep going. We don't have a website or anything like that. We prefer to do business face-to-face. It is a simple, busy life and we are happy to be a part of the market tradition here in this part of town.
