Our place is tucked away in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, right on Gotri Road 949. It is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, we just focus on making vegetarian meals. We started this because we wanted a place where people could eat like they do at home. Nothing too oily or overly spiced, just regular food. The kitchen is small, so you can usually hear the clatter of pots and pans if you sit near the back. We open up early and do not really close until the dinner crowd thins out. Sometimes we run out of certain items by evening, especially on weekends when BTM gets crowded. The chairs are just basic wood and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. People come in, eat their sambar and rice, and head back to work or home. It is a straightforward setup. We do not spend money on ads or anything like that. Most folks find us just by walking past or hearing about it from a neighbor. We are just part of the street here at 949 Gotri Road. It is a lot of chopping and stirring, but seeing the same faces every day makes it feel worth the effort for the crew.
