Sutures Manufacturing Co. has been operating out of 93 A-B in Sri Maruthi Indl. Town for quite a while now. If you know the Fourth Phase in Peenya, you know it’s a massive area with lots of small shops and big factories all mixed together. We’re tucked away in our corner, just doing our thing with the sutures. Making these things requires a lot of concentration, so the shop floor is usually pretty focused. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lot of chatting. We started small and just kept at it, year after year. The address is easy enough to find if you’re familiar with the industrial layout here, though sometimes delivery drivers get turned around near the main gate. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that time making sure the production line is moving properly. Every morning starts the same way with a cup of tea and a quick look at the schedule. We have a handful of workers who have been with us since the beginning, which helps keep things steady. It’s a practical environment. We just want to make sure the work is finished on time and the quality is what it needs to be. There isn’t much more to it than that. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work in Peenya.
