We are located at 295 Marathahalli, on the first floor of a building that sits right in the thick of things. Marathahalli is a place that never seems to sleep, and the traffic outside our window is almost always at a standstill. We’ve been in the moving business for a long time, and this office is where we do all our planning. It’s not a fancy place at all; it’s mostly just stacks of cardboard boxes and rolls of bubble wrap leaning against the walls. We spend most of our time out in the field, helping people move their homes from one side of Bangalore to the other. It’s a very physical job, and we usually come back here at the end of the day feeling pretty tired. The office has an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it helps with the afternoon heat. We don't have any promotional slogans or high-tech systems. We just write down the jobs in a big ledger and make sure the trucks are ready to go. Sometimes the stairs up to our office feel very long after a day of lifting heavy furniture. We just try to do a decent job so people don't have too much to complain about. It's a simple, blue-collar life, and we are quite content with how things are. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same work.
